What a sad....case? Can it even be called a case at this stage? No one's been arrested or charged. Alicia's a legal adult now and has chosen to stay with this much older, larger guy with whom she has this mysterious history. As much as we all want to know what happened and for her to just leave this guy and reunite with her mother, her choices are her own as much now as they were four years ago.

None of us are entitled to know where Alicia has been this whole time, who she's been in contact with, how she ended up in that tiny Montana town, or why she went there, to begin with. The right thing to do would be to just respect her privacy and not play armchair detectives, posting pictures of the apartment she and the guy lived in before they were forced to flee from the harassment and attention. Now they live on a reservation with lots of crime.

None of this makes sense to us but that’s why we need to show restraint and respect Alicia’s wishes and privacy now that she’s chosen to continue living with this guy. Again, whatever decisions she makes going forward, she deserves respect from a distance.

I just hope that Alicia one day finds the help and guidance to safely navigate wherever her life goes from here (preferably to safer circumstances). Wishing her the best.
